An afternoon of stories and songs under the pavilion at Thorpewood, a 155-acre mountain retreat located in the Catoctin Mountains near Thurmont, MD (just 20 mins from Frederick). This GOING HOME SHOW will be presented under the pavilion under the beautiful setting of Thorpewoods forests overlooking a meadow. Bring a blanket and a picnic basket and take in the readings by Mary Batson, author of "Going Home" and the songs of Bob Sima. It is a unique combination of short readings and spirit filled songs! There will also be a storytelling event for the kids! So bring the family. Adults enjoy the GOING HOME Show, while the kids are off at their chaparoned event. This event is a fundraising activity to support Thorpewoods mission – providing education and personal development programs for at-risk youth. PLEASE JOIN US IN RAISING MONEY FOR THIS CAUSE

• From I-495 (the beltway around Washington D.C.) take I-270 North to exit 6-A, Route 28.
• Bear right at the top of the exit ramp onto Route 28/Montgomery Ave., in the direction of downtown Rockville.
• Take the first left onto Mannakee St.
• Proceed 0.6 mile, through a roundabout and straight through one stop sign to Welsh Park Drive (formerly Norris Street) on right.
• Take a right onto Welsh Park Drive and go one short block to the church entrance on the right.
