Bob Sima, Consciousness in Concert
- How do you put into words a life-changing experience?
- How do you put into words the emotions felt in pure bliss?
- How do you put into words the overwhelm of a challenging situation?
- How do you create a vocabulary that accurately portrays a full-body experiential moment?
We don’t. We typically “can’t find the words” to describe what we categorize as the highs and the lows of life, whether simple or complex in their presentation. Words may escape us, but we sure feel something.
Enter Bob Sima.
Bob has a unique way to put a song together and really touch the core of your being…and the messaging is divine! Each CD will grow on you to the point where you will listen to his songs on a daily basis! ~tarzansloss
Bob has a gift of creating musical vibrations that can define and recall and heal and inspire those out-of-body moments of every day life. From a glimpse of a raindrop sparkling in the sunshine when the skies clear after a mid-day storm to dropping onto your knees when the whispers of a grief-stricken heart begin to process… Bob talks straight to your soul. Not only does he talk, he serenades you through every awareness, every celebration, and every challenge you will encounter. Not once. Not twice. But every time you listen. The music that comes through him will vibrate with your spirit exactly where you are. You will hear exactly what you need to hear in this moment, and the next, and the next.
Bob Sima puts words to the indescribable at both ends of the spectrum – the mundane and the transcendent – making the everyday eternal, and the eternal everyday. ~Tom Capshew, Spiritual Mentor and Author
By educated standards, Bob should not be able to do what he does. He doesn’t read music. He has never had a voice lesson. His instructor dismissed him early from his one-and-only guitar lesson for lack of interest. He doesn’t know music theory, chord structure, or in what key he is playing. And none of that matters. He is a channel. The songs that come through Bob are his lessons first. The messages in the lyrics touch his heart and open his spirit to growth and transformation. That is why they will resonate so deeply with you. We are all learning the same lesson: to return to pure unconditional love. We might be presented with different packages, but the life lessons – at the foundation – are the same.
Bob’s music goes where Lennon and Bono can only dream of… the personally relevant. He is not trying to take music to new places, but he is allowing music to be the vehicle that his spiritual relationship is driving. ~Ffchbji
Bob’s music will be one of your power tools. Tools for self awareness, self expression, self healing, self discovery, self confidence. You will use the songs to nurture the super power within you: your consciousness. Whether it be a book, a blog, a radio show, a quote, a meditation, a pet, a friend, a journal, a labyrinth, a crystal, a sketch – we all use tools throughout our journeys. The list is endless. We promise that you will find another soulFULL tool with Bob’s music.
Even just one encounter with Bob Sima’s music will have a lasting ripple effect not only on your life, but on the lives of those around you. ~Rebecca Matias, Intuitive Business & Success Coach™, Speaker, Author
Sima is a dynamic singer-songwriter, performer, storyteller, speaker, servant of humanity, workshop and retreat leader, meditation and breathwork facilitator, and creative collaborator — often weaving all of these elements into a single performance. He is a nationally touring artist performing at festivals, concert halls, yoga studios, wellness centers, and spiritual centers to share his message and music. His soul-stirring performances straddle the worlds of folk, kirtan, soul, and gospel as he navigates audiences deeply on a journey, both individually and as a collective. Flowing with the unique energy at each event and rarely making a set-list, he is a master at going from foot-stomp to pin-drop. He guides audiences into a space for things – epiphanies, light bulbs coming on, shifts – to happen. His performances invite a visceral embodiment of the music and message in a wide-open space of possibilities.

Sima’s mission for his music: “I come with a crystal clear divine purpose. With utmost and sacred devotion, I encapsulate – in song – my interpretations of the ancient, timeless wisdom of the ascended masters and of the contemporary teachers I meet in this life. Each and every song I birth begins as my personal conversation with Source, delivered as life lessons of spiritual growth, transformation, and expansion of consciousness. I share this gift to soften the hardest of hearts, widen the narrowest of smiles, loosen the tightest of grips, lighten the heaviest of loads, and thin the thickest of walls of as many souls as I can possibly reach. All for the greater purpose of lifting as much light and consciousness into this world at this time in human evolution when it is so called to be done.”

Sima also has a penchant for service. When given the opportunity on his traveling tours, he schedules appearances where his messages are needed – places where live, empowering music isn’t typically offered. Calling these Gratitude Concerts, he offers free concerts at prisons, homeless shelters, assisted living centers, mental health facilities, hospitals, and schools. Sima recollects a visit to Auburn Correctional Facility where he performed the first concert within the prison walls in 17 years: “When the audience is so transfixed and thirsty for a message of hope and light, it motives me to keep giving that in those harsh environments. I witnessed men whose lives have been nothing but pain – both given and received – melt into the consciousness together. You could feel the healing, the forgiveness, and the surrender taking place. It was a humbling and mystical experience.” His service extends to his local Maryland community as well. He has volunteered at Walter Reed National Military Hospital in Bethesda for Musicians On Call, a service that brings live music to hospital rooms. Through a partnership with Musicians On Call, he also worked with Tracy’s Kids pediatric cancer patients in a songwriting project. In his home base of Annapolis he regularly offers healing song circles, breathwork, and music meditations at Wellness House, a haven of alternative and holistic care options for cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
Bob’s songs tell beautifully-written stories in a style that brought to mind artists like Jackson Browne and John Mellencamp, but with more spiritually-focused content. ~Michael Diamond, Awareness Magazine
