Life has been a series of moments that co created me and the character I Am. I often ponder the magical unfolding of the human experience. We soften and harden as we age. We soften in our desire to fight yet we grow more rigid in our beliefs. Our worlds get smaller as we settle to a groove. We lose sight of our oneness. We have been able to lock away in small worlds to soothe the anxiety that comes in living in the mystery.
Our families grow, filled with resentment built from unexpressed truths. Silence that was expected as a form of sacrifice for love. We were told children should be seen and not heard. Now, in truth, I can see the value of teaching children the art of listening and respect of their elders’ words as they grow to learn their own voices. For we all given a unique voice, a vibration of our being that can be heard in another’s heart when we speak from our heart, tuned and aligned to our most peaceful state.
The music of Bob Sima is a brilliant example of how a man’s heart can sing to the world in such a way that the old washes away for the new vibration to tune the heart and all of the body.
After listening – over and over for three weeks – to two of Bob’s CDs (It’s Time & putalittlemoreloveintheworld), I have – what feels like – a new nervous system that is tuned and aligned to the most divine vibration of being. Let us rejoice as it spreads far and wide.
One of the universal truths I honor is that what we focus on grows. So my friends, let us focus on peace. As Bob sings, “the peace in you meets the peace inside of me.” Center to center we meet one another to harmonize our families into community.
Thank You Bob and Shannon. I have a few great ideas for where to go next.
